Balm Balm was founded on the principle that petrochemicals have no place in truly beneficial skincare. Commercial skincare products typically contain water, and need to be preserved by petrochemicals. Balm Balm products are formulated without water. This results in product textures that may feel a little unusual at first (almost balm-like, hence the brand name!), but that just means that all Balm Balm products contain nothing but good-for- skin ingredients and no unnecessary chemicals to burden your skin.
Keep them cool, keep them fresh
To prolong the life of your Balm Balms, simply keep them cool. They will melt at approximately 32 degrees, but no worries if they do – just pop them in the fridge and they will harden up again soon.
Gritty is good!
Your Balm Balm may be a little gritty after it hardens up. This is because it contains no nasty chemical emulsifiers, and grittiness occurs when it has hardened up too quickly. This does not affect its effectiveness and in fact, is Balm Balm’s little way of reminding you that its products are completely natural. So enjoy the grittiness and the peace of mind that you are truly taking care of your skin by choosing 100% safe and beneficial products!
